Jun-03-05  InspiredByMorphy: Out of 34 games in the database with the position up to move 10 , 33 of the games involve 10.Bd2 and only this game has 10.Bxf4 . I think it is an improvement.
Jul-04-07  amuralid: 16. ? is Wednesday or Thursday puzzle material. I usually close my mind to attacking the moment I see the Queen can come over for defense. I think 18. Re7 is pretty hard to find when playing a real game.
Jul-04-07  amuralid: Actually I think 15. ? is the real puzzle. Its more or less forced from that point on.

wwall: Instead of 12...Bh6, best seems 12...Qg5.
After 12...Bh6, White should have played 13.Qf6! Rf8 14.Bxf7+ for the win.
Jan-05-20  gambitfan: The mate-in- 8 is not obvious !

1) mated-in-8 (22 ply) 18...♔xe7 19.♕e5+ ♕e6 20.♗xe6 ♗f4 21.♕xf4 dxe6 22.♕xc7+ ♘d7 23.♕d6+ ♔e8 24.♕xe6+ ♔f8 25.♘h6+ ♔g7 26.♖f7

Jan-05-20  gambitfan: At the end of the game, Whjite are down 2 minor pieces + 1 rook (against 1 pawn)... and they have a forced mate in 8 !!

jnpope: Does anyone know if J Schlesinger is the same player as Julius Isidor Schlesinger?
