Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-01-05  Whitehat1963: Keres, the most prolific proponent of today's opening of the day can't hold his own against Furman.
Feb-16-19  Retireborn: A fascinating battle that is, up to a point, played brilliantly by both sides.

36.Bf3 is (presumably) a time trouble blunder; after 36.Bg4, which prevents the devastating ...Re6, White is perhaps a little better.

The most beautiful line occurs after 34...Rg8+ (instead of ...Nxf6); then after 35.Kh1 Black can sacrifice a rook with 35...e3! eg 36.fxe7 Qc7 (threat ...Qe7-h4) 37.Rg1 (only move) Qxe7 38.Rxg8+ Kxg8 39.Rb8+ Kg7 40.Qb2 Qxh4+ 41.Kg1 Qg5+ 42.Kf1 dxc3 43.Qc2 exf2 44.Qxf2 Ne3+ and it all ends in perpetual.
