18...Bxb2 19.Qxb2 Ne5 threatening to fork the king and queen.

May-23-10  diceman: Not that clear.
Balck will have problems with
a1 to h8 after Qc3.

Kingside threats will probably force a Rh7.

Maybe better than the game but not the simple win
of a pawn.
I can see why black may have passed it up.
