Mar-31-08  ToTheDeath: 18.d5! is a great clearance sacrifice to get the knight to d4. Kasparov stopped playing the Caro soon after.

Looks like Tseshkovsky again had Kasparov almost on the ropes 26 years later. Tseshkovsky vs Kasparov, 2004

Oct-26-20  fisayo123: Yes , 15 year old Garry got taken to school in this one. Tseshkovsky was a pretty underrated player in the 70's. Even Kramnik looked up to him.
