Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-29-03  Spitecheck: Not only does Ivanchuck get rid of his a-pawn his pieces waltz all over the white queenside with clear disdain for it's suspects Bd3 was not the sole cause of this macabre sideshow.

Nov-29-03  fatbaldguy: Black is better but I thought white could fight on. For example, 25 ♖:c2 ♖:c2 26 ♕:a3 ♖:d2 27 ♗:d2 ♕:f2 28 ♔h3 ♕:d2 29 ♕c5 would force black to grind out an endgame with one extra pawn but with an active white queen. Can black do better?
Nov-01-05  The17thPawn: <fatbaldguy> I completely agree with your sentiment. In fact white may have blown a win here. 25)R:c2 R:c2 26)Q:a3 R:d2 27)Q:a8+!! K:h7 28)B:d2 Q:f2 29)Q:g2 Q:d4 looks like white gets a piece for two pawns. Any thoughts on what I am missing? Does Q:a8 save the day?
Nov-01-05  notsodeepthought: <The17thPawn> Looks pretty good to me.

FSR: Mega Database 2013 shows this as a blitz game. That must be the explanation for why the game ends as 0-1 in a position where White is immediately winning material. That said, it's very early for Khalifman to flag.

perfidious: <FSR> The game was played at a Tilburg KO blitz event.
