Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-16-05  THE pawn: Wow, this is the first time I see Miss Polgar getting beaten so bad.

Ivan's 5 to 8 moves were great and opened susan's play. But I think she just moved her queen too early in the game.

Apr-17-05  ahmadov: I think many people underestimate Ivancuk. He can be a headache for any Super GM at any time. I really like his style.
Jul-08-05  DanRoss53: Uh, is this blind or rapid or am I just an idiot? Why wasn't 14. ♘xb6 played??
Jul-08-05  sitzkrieg: ..@the pawn: This is Zsuza Polgar (maybe u know already) not Judith and i think she may v been 15 or something at this time while Ivanchuk was top GM so its not really a big surprise. @Danross: I guess Chucky was just being nice. His opponent was a little girl after all.. But seriously id like to know too. Maybe I should check this game for correctness in another database.. If anyone sees something after Nb6 say so!
Jul-08-05  WMD: < 5'> Blitz game.
Jul-08-05  sitzkrieg: K thanks..Still Qb6 mysterious move..
Jul-08-05  DanRoss53: <sitzkrieg> Actually Zsuza (or Susan)'s date of birth is 1969, so she would have been twenty-two or twenty-three when this game was played. But it is possible that he was taking it easy since it was just blitz.

<WMD> Thanks!

Jul-08-05  sitzkrieg: OOPS that old?? I thought she was just a little older than Judith. Srry
Aug-11-06  ad231044: Qb6??? what an odd move...i agree sitzkrieg...wonder what she was thinking sacrificing her queen for a knight??
Aug-11-06  ad231044: I dont think Chucky was being nice or taking it easy on her b/c she is a girl by not taking her queen..he had other plans in mind. However Zuzsa at 22 years old was and still is a highly ranked player and Qd6 puzzles me.
Aug-11-06  ad231044: Qb6..sorry!!
Aug-11-06  Aspirador: I guess that 13...Da5 was played. After 14.Bd2 Dxa2, I guess that 15.Nc7 might have followed. This seems to make more sense.
Aug-11-06  Aspirador: Actually, after 13...Qa5 14.Bd2 Qxa2 15.Qe7+ with mate to follow.
Oct-15-06  Bufon: Fast collapse, but it was blitz, where anything weird often happens.
Feb-11-08  Abejorral: Too many blunders in the same game

Phony Benoni: I would guess that Black actually played 13...Qa5.
