Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-15-08  YoungEd: Nice straightforward attack by Wahltuch here. I don't like black's idea of ...b6; a Q-side fianchetto doesn't help much after the pawn exchange on d5 blocks things.

  fm avari viraf: Black's fate is sealed with 21.Qg4 as Black can't save the mate. If 21...Bxe5 22.Rxh7+ Kxh7 23.Qxg6+ Kh8 24.Qh6# If 21...Rxf7 22.Rxh7+ Kxh7 23.Qxg6+ Kh8 24.Nxf7# Again, if 21...Bxe5 22.Rxh7+ Kf6 23.Qxg6+ Ke7 24.Qe6# A nice combination!

master8ch: 20...Qd6 seems to hold on.
Jul-13-20  Granny O Doul: On 20...Qd6, 21. Rxh7+ is still very strong: ...Kxh7 22. Bxg6+ Kg7 23. Qg4 and White's threats are too much.
