Honza Cervenka: 12.Bb2 was a mistake which caused all troubles of white in this game. After 12.Nd2 the position is roughly equal.

Benzol: Would White playing 19.f4 have helped with his defence? He could then have followed up with 20.♕g4 perhaps.

  Honza Cervenka: After 19.f4 black can simply take that pawn with Bishop (19...Bxf4) because 20.Bc1 (20.Qg4 Qxg4+ 21.hxg4 Bd6 22.f4? Bxf4 ) 20...Bd6 21.f4 f5 22.fxg5 fails for 22...Qg3+ 23.Kf1 f4 with an unavoidable attack.

Benzol: <Honza> My idea was to sac the f pawn as you point out and then trade Queens. However, the game is probably beyond saving. Good advice is hard to find in a bad position.

Honza Cervenka: Well, it was probably the best chance of white as it avoids an immediate defeat, but the pawn should be sufficient for a win.
