Phony Benoni: I suspect it was about 14...Qb2 when White started to get that sinking feeling that this wasn't going to work out well. And maybe even sooner.

GrahamClayton: Maybe 8.♕d8+ exchanging into an endgame was better.
Feb-28-13  DWINS: 11.e3? was the fatal mistake. According to Stockfish, Black has an advantage of (-5.01) after 11...Rd8.

White should have played 11.Qf4 Rd8 12.e4 b6 13.Be2 Re8 14.f3 f5 15.O-O (-0.12) with a level game.

May-22-14  jerseybob: There are several places where white could've improved, as the posts above note, but the first move I don't like is 4.d4, which seems against the spirit of the English. I'd prefer 4.d3, and then black's Bb4 and doubling of the c-pawns is no big deal, because they wouldn't be isolated doubled pawns.
