Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-26-04  Marius: why black castle to Quenneside ?
Dec-26-04  Lawrence: <Marius>, Black had better moves, for example 11......h6 (or Be7 or b4). (Junior 8, 30 min. search)
Oct-11-08  DWINS: Popovych could have held the draw with the ingenious move 24...Rd8!, with the fiendish plan 25.Qxe4 Rxd1+ 26.Kxd1 Qf1+ 27.Kd2 Rd7+, which forces White to drop a piece by 28.Nd5 exd5, for otherwise 28.Bd4? Bg5+ 29.Qe3 Rxd4#

White would probably play 25.Qb6+ Bb7 26.Bxe6 Rxd1+ 27.Kxd1 Qf1+ 28.Kd2 Qxg2+ 29.Kc1 Qf1+ 30.Kd2 Qg2+ with a perpetual check.
