IMlday: In the post mortem Suttles and Benko quickly convinced me that 8..Bd7 was inferior to 8..a5 when after 9.a4 b4 9.Nd1 then ..Bd7 would be irrelevent. Don't think I ever quite equalized in the game, though I did make it interesting. Is 12..h4 an improvement? 20..Nc7 is debatable. Why not 20..f6.
The adventuresome opening burnt up the clock and moves 25-40 were all played fast.

nasmichael: Haven't seen one like this before. Thanks to the players, for being so enterprising and creative. Artists often get a chance to hear thanks and praises from their fans in some gathering (museums, art galleries, concerts) -- but chess players should have an opportunity to hear "thanks" also; this site is our "gallery" to display our works of art, or for fans to watch the aftereffects of such hard work and creativity. It would be interesting to have a room with some smart boards with the most brilliant or interesting games being replayed slowly, for the spectators to watch and comment as they walk by. "The High Museum of Chess art Presents the Works of Rubenstein, 1914-1921, Main Gallery, May 2008" or some such title. Interested patrons could play through the games on Phantom Chess boards located through the gallery floor, and on opening day the GMs could go through their favorite games with the audience.
