Chessical: Chigorin creates a K-side attack which overwhelms his opponent with the advance of his <f> and <g> pawns ahead of his castled K.

<17...Rb8?!> Ascharin puts off <17...d5> perhaps because he underestimated the dynamic potential of the move, and concentrated on the static weakness of the backward e-pawn?

<19...gxf5> does not seem any better after 20.gxf5 Qc7 21.f6! Nf5 22.Bxf5 exf5 23.Rae1

<21...Bxf5> also loses, 22.Bxf5 Nxf5 23.Rxf5 Qc8 24.Rxf7 Kxf7 25.Rf1+ Kg8 26.Be7

<24.Qxg7+!> wrpas the game up in an elegant fashion.
