Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-16-14  Autoreparaturwerkbau: The position is a dead draw, so the result 1-0 is not correct.

perfidious: Maybe Ivkov lost on time while making his last move, for the position seems to offer little after the obvious 41.Nf5+ and possibly Qa6.
Feb-17-14  thomascrown: 41.Nf5+ Kg6 42Qd7 looks bad for black - d6 pawn is hanging and f7 is then vulnerable. Bc7 allows Qe8. I'm not using an engine so if anyone can confirm my findings, please kibitz!
Feb-18-14  DWINS: <thomascrown>, Stockfish confirms that the position after 41.Nf5+ Kg6 42.Qd7 is a draw. Black plays 42...Qe1 threatening a mate in 2 by 43...Qf1+ 44.Kg4 h5 mate. White must play 43.Nxh6 Kxh6 44.Qxf7 and Stockfish evaluates the position as a draw.

Incidentally, 42... Qb1 and 42... g4+ also result in a draw.

Feb-18-14  thomascrown: <DWINS> Thanks for the analysis. I saw Qe1 but thought 43.Kg2 Qe2+ 44.Bf2 Qc4? 45.Qxf7+ and black still had to defend. By the way, the Bled crosstable shows Bisguier winning this game!
May-27-17  linuxguy: Bisguier says in his book 'The Art of Bisguier', that he indicated to Borislav that he had flagged, before he was able to press his clock.
