  Mateo: A typical win for Andersson. He got a small advantage during the all game, and suddenly Browne lost because of one mistake in the Rook ending.

53... Rb7? was bad. He should have play the active 53... Rg2! with good drawing prospects.

Mar-12-08  Elxiddicus: It's interesting to compare this to Ulf Andersson vs Browne, 1981 from a year before where Andersson played 12. BxB instead of here where he took with the queen. I wonder if this slight opening difference is what resulted in the different outcomes of the two games?

Agreed; but <54... Rg4+ 55.K~3 Rg2> looks better still.
