  Honza Cervenka: 34...Kxd5?? was very naive move and/or miscalculation. White Pawns are unstopable: 37.b5! Na8 (37...Bc5 38.Bxc5 Kxc5 39.b6 ) 38.b6 Kc6 39.a6 Nxb6 (else 40.b7) 40.Bxb6 etc.

perfidious: I believe Ray Keene lightly annotated this game in British Chess Magazine, noting that after 34.... Kxb5 35.Nc3+ Kc6, Black was slightly better, but that the game would most likely be drawn.

<Honza Cervenka>,
Andersson was apparently in time trouble, so Gaprindashvili tried the tricky 34.cb5+ rather than 34.♘c3, hoping that Black would make a mistake, which he did.
