Honza Cervenka: Quite sharp game where both players missed their chance to get clear and maybe even decisive advantage. Alekhine grabbed the Pawn on b5, which Teichmann could retake immediately by 10...Nxe4, as 11.Qxe4 leaves Nb5 hanging but he decided to go for gambit, and it was quite right decision. 14.c3 by Alekhine seems to be a mistake (14.exd5 was correct) but Teichmann also missed 14...Nxe4!, which looks very unpleasant for white. If he plays 15.cxb4, then black has 15...Bxf2+ 16.Kd1 Ng3 17.Qxf2 Nxh1 18.Qe1 dxc4 19.Nc2 (or 19.Qxh1 Ba4+) 19...Ra8 20.Rxa8 Qxa8 21.Qxh1 Be4 with huge advantage of black despite of white's two minor pieces for Rook and Pawn. On the other hand after 23...Rxe5?! Alekhine could have played 24.Rxa8! exploiting tactically weak back rank of black. After forced 24...Rxa8 25.Qxb4 gxf6 26.Rxd4 Qa5 27.Nxe5 white has sound extra Pawn with solid winning chances.

Sorry, I see no 2R of black here. Now, 27...fxe5? is just bad for 28.Rg4+ Kh8 29.Qe7 and the game is over, and so 27...Qxb4 28.Rxb4 fxe5 is the best what black can get here. The Rook ending with extra b-Pawn is quite promising for white, if not won by force.

I guess it's hopeless after 26.Bxe5 with threat Bd6. Let's say that after 24.Rxa8 Qxc4 25.Rxb8+ Bf8 26.Bxe5 black will play 26...Qc5 and in now 27.Rxd4, what is black going to do with threat Bd6? Not to mention that white has already 2R+N+P for Q.
