Kibitzer's Corner
Oct-09-16  PJs Studio: Curious, right when Anand resigned, is it unlikely, near impossible, or not to hard to hold this pawn down ending in an OTB game?
Jan-13-17  intuitivesac: This kind of position, a clear pawn ahead with same color bishops, pawns on both sides of the board and a well placed king, is easy meat for top players. It's amazing how quickly they can muster up the required technique to win these positions without allowing drawing chances.
Jun-25-17  Cheapo by the Dozen: It's blitz. Anand might easily have run out of time looking for a way to save the game and failing to find it.
