Dec-20-17  reti: I would like to see the source of this game because the Schaakcourant only gave the final position.
Dec-20-17  WorstPlayerEver: Rubinstein in Rotterdam. That was really something. It really annoyed him that the bus driver (afaiac, I could be totally wrong here, though) in Rotterdam didn't know who Oskam was. Accidently, the bus driver was one of my grandfathers.

The story goes that Rubinstein said to the bus driver that he wanted to visit his friend Oskam.

Whereupon the bus driver -my granddad thus- said something like: "Great! No problem.."

Then the fight started; R. said: "Do you play chess?" "Of course.. who doesn't? By the way.. does Oskam have an address?"

My granddad darn knew well where Oskam lived, for he was a bus driver. Bus drivers knew these things in those days. He just didn't like chess players. That's all.

Anyway, if you do not know Oskam, however, what do you do know about chess???
