Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-21-12  ninja warrior: we have you surrounded! come out with your hands up or we'll shoot! man leko is a beast. thanks for teaching me how to play the white side of the winawer (which has stopped me from playing 3. Nc3 in the french for a while now).
Jul-21-12  ninja warrior: incidentally, leko performed this encircling maneuver entirely without the help of his LSB, which hadn't budged in 33 moves. nicely done.
Jul-21-12  4tmac: The unopposed DSB springs to life. 17...NxB was necessary.
Jul-21-12  mrbasso: "thanks for teaching me how to play the white side of the winawer" Yeah, however your opponents will not play d4 and outplay you later.
Jul-21-12  roninmb: Yes 17... NxBe3 followed by 18...Rg7 was much better. However the real culprit was 19...f6, the straw that broke the camel's back. 22...Rg7 came 2 late.
