I knew it was 1977 as I found my original scoresheet recently, but somehow I inputted the wrong year. As for the game being in its right place, quite. In another sense, though, it was better off lost.

Feb-06-11		Domdaniel: < What was the thought behind 21 ... f5?> Desperation, I suspect: Black's position is already very, very bad. After the blunder 14...Nb6, his pieces just get relentlessly pushed onto bad squares. I think the idea was that White's about to play f5 anyway, with a powerful attack that wins at least a pawn in many lines. By playing ...f5 first, Black hopes either to get some piece activity or exchange Queens at the cost of a pawn. Illogical, I know.

I remember the opening though: 1.e4 e5 2.f4...I essayed the Fischer Defence.
