Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-23-04  InspiredByMorphy: Morphy fully capitalizes on whites weak 16th move 16.Kh1 after 16.dxe4 its lights out!
Oct-27-05  organist: You may be <InspiredByMorphy> but I'm frustrated by Sergeant! Where can one find this game properly annotated in English or French?
Jul-20-06  Marmot PFL: White's plan of advancing the kingside pawns so early looks dubious. Ne2-f4-d5 followed by Bf4, Qd2, and Rad1 would give white a very good position.
Jun-16-09  blacksburg: there's something benoni-ish about the early middle game here.
Jul-21-10  WhiteRook48: move 14 i would probably do stuff like be3 and rad1
or have i missed a brilliant refutation?

Jimmy720: Defeating a flank attack with a strike in the center!
Aug-29-18  jabinjikanza: Good game!!!!!

kingscrusher: It seems Barnes played 16.Kh1 because unfortunately for him his King would be on the dreaded "diagonal of death" and Black could have made use of this fact with the crushing c4 move. If 16. e5 then black has :

c4 !!
