  Korora: Sac a ♗ to deflect the ♕ and it's lights out.
Sep-25-24  stacase: Almost as ridiculously easy as yesterday's offering.

  takebackok: Easy, easier & easiest this week. Took a second to see after the simple 18. Bb4 Qxb4 that first Queen ck and then Ne5 is lights out. Was looking the other way around at first.
Sep-25-24  King.Arthur.Brazil: The kings line is easy: 18. Bb4 Qxb4 19. Qd8+ Kf7 20. Ne5#.
Sep-25-24  mel gibson: I saw the first ply.

Stockfish 17 says mate in 11:

18. Bb4

(18. Bb4 (1.Bb4 e5 2.Bg6 Be6 3.cxb7 Re8 4.b8Q Bf7 5.Bxf7 Kxf7 6.Nxe5+ Kf6 7.Bxe7+ Nxe7 8.Qd6+ Kf5 9.Qd7+ Kf6 10.Qbd6+ Kg5 11.Qg4+) +M11/71 314)

White wins _ mate in 11.

Sep-25-24  cocker: A straightforward Wednesday puzzle, for a change.
Sep-25-24  TheaN: Wow, this is definitely below regular Wednesday level due to limited variations. <18.Bb4 Qxb4 19.Qd8+ Kf7 20.Ne5#> or Black thinks of something else on move 18 but then White wins at least ♗:♕, but likely more as Qd8 is still a threat winning the rook on h8. Apparently it's #11 from the start and 18....e5?! is best. Black's toast regardless.

  MissScarlett: I went with <18. Bb4 Qxb4 19. Ne5 Qe7 20. Ng6+>.
Sep-25-24  vajeer: Queen and knight always combine so well. A bit of uncommon mating pattern but not difficult to see.

  chrisowen: I wink q fave its do pull Bb4 get fa abo its lo its at a bit o lat its o Bb4 its ha;
Sep-25-24  Twilight of the Idol: A nice deflection. Not particularly difficult.
Sep-25-24  Bobby Fiske: Is Bb4 called a "Magnet" move?
Sep-25-24  Rosbach: 18. Bb4 Qxb4 19. Qd8+ Kf7 20. Ne5#. It seemed clear that it had to begin with the Bb4 sacrifice and the rest wasn't so hard after that.
