  tpstar: 13. b3 seems slow and allows Black to trade off a doubled Pawn, but appears to be a reasonable plan. Alternatives are 13. Qe2 d3 14. cd cd 15. Qe4 Rad8, or 13. Ne4 Rxg7 14. Ng3 Rag8; either way, White really misses the Bishops. Interesting that Black chose 17 ... Kf8 over 17 ... Rdg8 18. g3 19. Kf8 & 20 ... Bg4, probably because his idea of pressuring the d4 Pawn and dislodging the Nb3 with a5-a4 was stronger.

malocha_malocha-tpstar0 (Yahoo 5/3/04): 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Nf6 4. d4 ed 5. 0-0 Bc5 6. e5 d5 7. exf6 dxc4 8. fg!? Rg8 9. Re1+ Be6 10. Bg5 Be7! 11. Bh6!? Qd5 12. Na3 0-0-0 13. Qe2 d3 14. cd cd 15. Qd2? Bb4 16. Qf4 Bxe1 17. Rxe1 a6 18. b3 Qd6 and Black won (0-1).
