Mar-16-05  ConLaMismaMano: What's the threat? Bc4+, Nf7+, etc?
Mar-16-05  Volmac: The threat of Bc4+ is a killer, eg 24...Qe8 25.Bc4+ Kh8 26.Nf7+. Black also loses after 24...Kh8 25.Bc3! Qg6 26.Bxg4 fxg4 27.Rd1 h6 28.Rd6 or 24...Re8 25.Bc4+ Kh8 26.Nf7+ Kg8 27.Nd6+ Be6 28.Bxe6+ Rxe6 29.Qc8+. On 24...h6 white plays 25.Bc4+ Kh8 26.Bf7!

Weak me. Didn't see 24.Qc7 but game gave full credit for 24.Bc4+.
Mar-21-09  Woody Wood Pusher: 24.Qc7!!

Feb-27-20  cSete: Had a few moves where I couldn't BUY a point, but recovered and scored a weakish 29. 24.Qc7 wasn't even on the radar...... I went for 24.Bc4+ also.
