perfidious: Pity <Jorge> did not stick around a while.
Sep-09-16  zydeco: After 24.e5! black's position blows up.

Spassky's 24....Ng4 seems like just one bad option of many. If 24...Nxg5 25.Nxg5 and there's no way to defend f7. If 24....dxe5 25.Rxe5 and white wins a pawn on e6. I was looking at 25....Qb2 26.Bxe6 fxe6 27.Rxe6 Qxa3 keeping the material balance but 28.Bxf6 gxf6 29.Qd7 is curtains.

Maybe 22....Ne5 is the right way to go. After 23.Nd4 black has some tactical ideas like 23....Qa5 24.Rce3 Neg4!
