PS. "33. ?" Would make an excellent Tuesday puzzle.

Mar-09-12  thomastonk: <LoveThatJoker: "33. ?" Would make an excellent Tuesday puzzle.> The text move is indeed very nice, but White has also a less prosaic win: 33.Rc7 Bc8 (33.. Ba8 34.Rd7 with the idea Rd8) 34.Rc6 with the idea Rd6 and Rd8.
Mar-09-12  LoveThatJoker: <thomastonk> I'm sure you mean a *more* prosaic win! :D

33. Rc7 Bc8 34. Rc6 with the idea of Rd6 and Rd8 is an excellent maneouvre!

Good on you for posting such an excellent remark and idea on this game!

Mar-02-18  Boomie: 30. e6 is a nice finish. If 30...fxe6 31. Nxe6 Rf7 32. Nd8 and the rook is stuck on f7. If it leaves, white will play f7+ and Ne6 to queen the pawn.

So black has to give up the exchange. With the c-file primed for invasion, white should have little trouble converting.
