| 3 games, 1997-2008 - Slav Defence: Exchange Grab on a8
This collection includes games from a type of position that arises from various lines of the Queen's Gambit. White wins the exchange on a8, but generally has to waive his right to castle.
The structure became well-known after Van Wely-Topalov 2006. Though there have always been strong players willing to go in for it as white, black has been more successful in practice.
A further burst in popularity was seen in 2014 with the introduction into opening theory of the line 1.d4 d5 2.c4 dxc4 3.e4 b5 4.a4 c6 5.axb5 cxb5 6.Nc3 a6!?.

| 9 games, 1994-2015 - Tournament Dominators Lose
We all know the situation. You're leading a tournament and everything's going well for you. You cut through your opponents like a hot knife does through butter... You're imagining dreaming about the brightest of futures. When players are in this kind of situation, they often- lose. These are their games. The games in this collection have very different stories behind them: some were just 'cosmetics', while others were really dramatic and changed chess history.
