Bu Xiangzhi set a record for youngest grandmaster. That record has been broken, however. Bu Xiangzhi won the Canadian Open (2007) with 8/10 ahead of Nigel Short. He also won Bilbao Blindfold Chess World Cup (2007) ahead of many notable players. In 2003 He won the 10th Aceimar International Open. He was second in Corus Group B (2007) His current rating is 2673. He won Antwerp (2008). His highest rating is 2714. He has a unique combination of positional, endgame and tactical skills. He can attack and he can win a drawn endgame.
