Dec-14-12  notyetagm: FIRST!
Dec-14-12  stst: looks like Yifan is back in form!!
Guess it's in Beijing, and weather is OK for Yifan!?
As already warned, next time the Chinese team playing outside China, factors other than chess should be carefully considered as well !!
Dec-14-12  chessmoron: <Guess it's in Beijing, and weather is OK for Yifan!?> Beijing is snowing.
Dec-14-12  Kikoman: go ! yifan hou ! :d
Dec-14-12  dumbgai: No Ushenina, eh?
Dec-15-12  waustad: In round 5 Muzychuk v Cramling is a very interesting version of a Sicilian Kan. It now has Pia with an exchange up for a pawn but with a bad bishop. It probably will draw.
Dec-15-12  waustad: It did.
Dec-15-12  Atking: <dumbgai: No Ushenina, eh?> Who?

HeMateMe: Strong line up here. Three world champions--Stefanova, Kosteniuk, Yifan.
Dec-16-12  waustad: I was looking at the ratings posted and it didn't make much sense until I realized they were talking about rapid ratings. http://sportaccord2012.fide.com/en/...
Dec-16-12  waustad: Blitz is getting ready as we speak If I'm not in error. They are already set up on the official site and on chessbomb. The likelihood that blitz keeps it together is low, but it can be fun to watch if one remembers that it will probably mess up when somebody knocks a piece over or some such. Yes blitz was my home turf lo these many years ago.
Dec-16-12  wych: <HeMateMe: Strong line up here. Three world champions--Stefanova, Kosteniuk, Yifan.>

Also Zhu Chen.

Dec-18-12  Alien Math: Hou Yifan are well in this tournament
Dec-19-12  Kikoman: I'm sad for Yifan Hou in not winning the rapid event, that's chess life. Congratulations! Kateryna Lahno! :)x
Dec-19-12  chessmoron: <Kikoman> Winning the last 2 crucial victories, Yifan wins Blindfold events
