The Hogeschool Zeeland Chess Tournament took place in Vlissingen, NED July 11 to July 17. The event was a FIDE rated Swiss system event. Van Wely and Glek took byes in the first round. Mikhail Gurevich won the event on tie break from Victor Mikhalevski and Shukhrat Safin all of whom scored 6/7.
