YOU ARE NOT SIGNED IN
- New Game Uploads:
- The Users dropdown(located top-left of page) contains all users who previously submitted a new game.(Default is self)
- Click "Show Submissions" to view selected user's "Pending Submissions" and "Processed Submissions"
- Click "Update Submissions" if any updates are needed in the "Pending Submissions" section
- Click "Process Submissions" after reviewing all submissions in the "Pending Submissions" section to add games to database
- NOTE: The "Processed Submissions" section will be updated to show the results of the submissions that were just processed
- Correction Slips:
- Click "Get Correction Slips" to view all submitted corrections
- First filter are for the slip types(Games, Players, Tournaments)
- Next filter is a dropdown for Problem types(bad_score, bad_player, etc...)
- Then there is an "Editors only" checkbox that will only show slips submitted by editors if checked
- Finally, there is an "Editors" dropdown where one can view slips submitted by the selected editor
- Click the "Edit" button on the top-right corner of any slip to open a slip
- Click "?" button on the top-right corner of any opened slip for instructions on updating
Pending Submissions
No Submissions
- To update player's short name, long name, or rating:
- Update "Player Info" form to correct value
- Click "Update Player" button
- To merge players:
- Insert the "pid" of the player you'd like to merge with on the 2nd row of the "PID" column in the "Merge Players" section
- Click the "Get Player" button
- Check the "Good_PID" checkbox for the player you'd like to keep
- Check the "Bad_PID" checkbox for the player you'd like to remove
- Click "Merge Players"
- NOTE:"Good" player inherits "Bad" players' games then "Bad" player gets deleted
- To create player:
- Insert the "New Player name" you'd like to create in the "Create Player" section
- Click "Create Player"
- To delete slip:
- Click "Delete Slip" and confirm
- When updating game's White or Black player
- Enter new player's pid in appropriate input(beside slip display)
- Enter player's name in appropriate PGN header tag
- When updating game's Tournament/Event
- Enter correct tournament name in the "Change Event" input Field
- Enter correct name at the "Event" tag in PGN header
- When updating game's Date
- Enter correct date in the "Date" input field(beside slip display)
- IF date's year has been changed, update "Year" input field also
- Enter correct date at the "Date" tag in PGN header
- For updating game's ECO slips
- We will add a button to re-evaluate ECO by running the "Ecogenius" program in the near future
- Don't worry about "bad_eco" slips for now
- When updating game's Result
- Update the "Result" dropdown(beside slip display)
- Update the "Result" tag in the PGN header
- Update the "Result" at the end of the PGN
- When updating game's Score
- IF adding/removing moves to the score, update "Move" input field to the correct number of moves
- When updating game's Gametype
- Update the "Gametype" dropdown menu below the "Change Event" input field
- After making necessary updates, click "Update Game" button
