Oct-26-04  poktirity: Do you have a photo of her?

  cu8sfan: Here's one: http://www.jaque.tv/krk03.htm

O you guys will love me for that link! (-; Let's call chessbase.com and they'll do a report on all these WGM!

Oct-26-04  aw1988: You are horrible. Those Chessbase articles were absolutely disgusting. We don't need "sexy" in chess. Go to Playboy if you want to see women, not chessgames.com.

tpstar: No, he was joking. Many members (himself included) have voiced their displeasure over those exploitation articles which pander to men like we're all drunken oglers (OK, maybe some of us really are). But I though it was great to see all those young faces playing chess!
Oct-26-04  aw1988: Yes, that is a certain quality which I would love to see readily admitted. Thanks <tpstar> and sorry <cu8sfan>.
Oct-26-04  meloncio: <cu8sfan> Yes, I love you for the link!! Oh man, just kidding ... (sigh)
Oct-26-04  acirce: <Komarov: People say you had a long relationship with the Slovak player Eva Repkova.

Kramnik: Yes, we used to go together to tournaments, but I still don't have a strong desire to have a family. Eva wanted some stability, and we had to end our relationship. Recently she got divorced from a Lebanese businessman and returned home.>

Oct-26-04  percyblakeney: Apparently Kramnik wasn't that interested in the unification. :)
Oct-26-04  Leviathan: I just read the interview with Kramnik posted above by acirce.

That's 99% trash - unless you are interested in Vladimir's very private life, of course.

<percyblakeney> lol. nice one XD

Oct-26-04  TonyBean: Who's the Russian chess woman who got her melons out for Playboysky?
Oct-26-04  aw1988: Personally I don't give a damn about a chessplayers (help me, I don't know where to put the apostrophe (spelling?), seriously.) personal life. Chess is simply a game, and I will study a game from a particular individual, praise s/he for it if necessary. I get so sick of headlines with THE PERSONAL LIFE OF VLADIMIR KRAMNIK. The players themselves must be annoyed at it, too.
Oct-26-04  acirce: That is how I look at it too. I don't know many biographical details at all even about the greatest players. I found this by coincidence while searching for an interview <Joshka> mentioned.
Oct-26-04  aw1988: Heh I know that one... one second. :)
Oct-26-04  aw1988: Janosevic vs Geller, 1968

cu8sfan: Thanks, <tpstar> for clearing my sarcasm up while I was away.

<acirce> I can't believe it was "coincidence". Admit it, you've got a Kramnik room at home in which always burns a candle! (-:

Oct-27-04  HailM0rphy: You think a shrines all hes got cu8? lol! He just had plastic surgery to look just like Kramnik- MTV did the story on it about a week ago ;)
May-06-08  whiteshark: "In 1998, Eva Repkova Eid- WGM won the Arab Women's Individual Championship in Morocco and the second place in the Asian Individual Women's Championship in Teheran."

May-06-08  slomarko: many years ago i played a couple of blitz games against Repkova on ICC, i remember she was a very friendly person.
