Yes, I agree. What I'm saying is that it wasn't any kind of game, it was just a posed shot.

He was born in Mitan, Kurland 1840, and moved to Dresden in 1862. He held a "high position in the officies of Governor of Livland". Apparently, ill-health forced an early retirement, and he didn't play in many tournaments in his later days, though he attended many as "Schlachten-Bummler" (Schottlaender).
