Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-27-05  pubs r us: David LeMoir is the author of "How to Become a Deadly Chess Tactician" - a good book for learning to sacrifice (despite mixed reviews at Amazon). I would recommend it to anybody interested in studying not just sacrifices that are played in mater-level games but analyzing the mechanics of how they work.

Lemoir was born in 1950 and lives in the United Kingdom.

Mar-07-07  independentthinker: Does anyone have a contact number / e-mail for David LeMoir? I have some questions on his Tactician Book.

Jul-21-07  ALEXIN: I'm reading his book "How to become a deadly tactician". Very good !
Jul-11-08  amtr: I like his tacitcs book too. But there were more games of his in the tactics book.
Feb-04-09  Dr. Funkenstein: David Lemoir plays for the Fakenham chess club in Norfolk, UK. He was Norfolk County Champion in 2008. David is a very influential person in the county circuit as a player, organiser, and junior coach.
