Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-10-13  waustad: The search facility doesn't like the hyphenated name. She's now playing in a European Youth Team championship in Maribor. so far she's at 1/4 but in the last 3 rounds she's playing lower rated players.
Jul-28-13  waustad: She tied Katharina Newrkla for second in the Austrian Womens championship with 6.5/9. Whe'll probably be seen in these events for some time, being the #6 female player in the country at the ripe old age of 15.
Nov-11-13  waustad: Today's game was probably not how you wanted to spend your 15th birthday, but I hope the rest of the day went better.
Jun-11-14  waustad: She isn't on the olympiad squad this year. Is she the daughter of Karin Schnegg? http://ratings.fide.com/card.phtml?...
Jun-11-14  whiteshark: <waustad> Yes, Karin his her Mom.

Oct-03-14  waustad: Her loss today to Margot Landl was one of the few surprises in the first round of the Austrian Damenbundesliga. With young players, the k value is so high (40 now) that ratings can change very rapidly. This loss cost her -32.00 elo.
Nov-14-14  waustad: She come in second on tiebreaks in GU16 European Rapids championship in Tallin: http://www.chess-results.com/tnr149... Two other Austrians did even better taking gold.
Jul-31-16  waustad: Congratulations on winning the Austrian Women's Championship for 2016! http://chess-results.com/tnr205548....
