cu8sfan: What a weird name. Is this guy from Middle Africa and the little box stands for that special tongue click sound that some languages have there? (-:
Feb-28-05  Bad Star: This is probably Unto Räisä.

  cu8sfan: <Bad Star> Do you see the 'ä' correctly? I just see a box.
Feb-28-05  Bad Star: Nope. Looks like a box to me too.
Feb-28-05  SBC: Unto is from Finland, I believe, boxes and all.

offramp: Have you tried the "Search Google® for Ris Unto" Feature? It's not very good.

chessgames.com: I think it's better now. We also found the spelling Raisa is used.
Feb-28-05  azaris: Ugh, please do away with the 'ae's. Nobody uses them and they're just awful.

offramp: I wonder why he had a 30-year gap in the middle of his career? Two R Untos?
Mar-01-05  sneaky pete: Unto seems to be his first name. In 1960 and 1962 he played fourth and second board for Finland in the Olympiads as <Räisä>, according to Földeák. 8 more of his games are given here as played by U Raisa.
