By the way his last fide rating is 2580. He also beat Daniel Friedman in bundesliga a while back and he is jewish but not from Israel. Either way I know this guy personally and he loves all chessplayers. |

 | | offramp: I've been thinking about that simultaneous world record, set in Tehran in 2011. I live in London, the centre of the world, and if I was asked to find 600 chess players I could probably do it. I could teach some myself. But most of those players would be incredibly weak, barely above beginner-level. I'd expect them to lose in about a dozen moves. In Tehran it may be different. It may be possible in that focus of chess history to find 600 strong chess players who are all available for the same time-window. Or perhaps 95% of the 600 were total and utter patzers who were only barely aware of the right way to move the pieces.... I don't know, I'm just a caveman!! |
