Kibitzer's Corner
Feb-17-04  rndapology: chessgames... The Cindy Tsai that I am familiar with was under 14 in 1998 when she played on the Pan Am team. Perhaps the 1964 game is bogus? My source is some "School Mates" magazines from 1998 and from talking to her brother in elementary school.

chessgames.com: Thanks, rndapology, it's apparently a different Tsai who played Tsai vs Dubinsky, 1964
Nov-15-04  Dick Brain: I believe Cindy Tsai is a sophomore at Stanford so yeah the '64 game was not possible.
Aug-29-07  whiteshark: Cindy Tsai :

Oct-22-08  supermanprime: There is a good picture of Cindy Tsai and some other players at the uscf website. http://main.uschess.org/content/vie...
Jul-09-11  SamAtoms1980: Happy Birthday, Cindy!

I was at Stanford for grad school for five years. Four of those five years were the same years she was there, yet we never met. There wasn't a whole lot in the way of chess activity on campus while I was there. It was mostly a few old guys playing casually at a couple of tables outside the CoHo.

It's kind of a shame our paths never crossed. We could have had some fun together.
