Kibitzer's Corner
May-26-14  Nosnibor: M A Stevenson was a very successful player having been the Wolverhampton League Individual Champion in 1966 and also winning the Staffordshire Congress in the same year.In 1967 he qualified to play in the British Championship and an excellent debut scoring 6.5/11.Not long after this he seemed to have given up chess .Only making a comeback in 1973 in the challengers section at Paignton which he won with ease.Did he then resort to playing bridge only?
