Jun-09-24  whiteshark: After a severe long illness, Sergey Aslanovich Beshukov (April 1, 1971 - June 8, 2024), the international grandmaster since 1994, the winner and prize-winner of a number of Russian and international tournaments, the international organizer of FIDE (2019), the arbiter of the FIDE (2018), sports judge of the All-Russian category in chess (2017).

Sergey Beshukov was an energetic organizer of chess competitions and made a great contribution to the development of chess in the Krasnodar Territory and the Southern Federal District as a whole.

The Russian Chess Federation expresses its sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased.
