This was the first game of the second day of Blitz. According to Mr. Barden in The Guardian (4th Jan 2019) Giri lost on time. After the win Carlsen told Norwegian T.V.:

"There are many who have fantasies as to what is the best way to start the day. This is mine.”

You of course meant 25...Rb8+, but yes, that is my candidate move as well.
