Honza Cervenka: Well played ending by white.
Jul-08-19  dumbgai: Black’s problem was he brought the Dutch defense to the battle of the bulge.
Jul-08-19  Ironmanth: Beautiful and incisive endgame play from White here. Thanks, chessgames!

ChessCoachClark: The Pawn protection for the White Rook keeps the Black King in a box-- out of the action in the endgame. Wonderful!
Jul-08-19  Chesgambit: very nice game
2. f5 Dutch defense
normally ıf you play1. d4, f5
2. e4!?
Jul-08-19  petemccabe: At the final position, it says "Three Time Repetition Claimable." But Black resigned. That would be quite the blunder.

Is that message correct? It doesn't seem that the final position occurred previously.

Jul-08-19  Gregor Samsa Mendel: The position was identical after black's 66th, 68th, and 70th moves. I guess that black could have claimed a draw by repetition of position at move 70.
