An Englishman: Good Evening: So many ways--perhaps too many ways--for White to pursue his attack. What about 22.Nxf7,Kxf7; 23.Bh5+,Kg8; 24.f5 as an attempt? If 23...Kf8; 24.Qg6(f5!?),Nd6; 25.exd5--does that work?
Aug-11-19  goodevans: <An Englishman> Yes, 22.Nxf7 looks to cause black a lot of problems.

With 22.Nxf7 Kxf7 23.Bh5+ things get pretty complicated and it's unclear who will prevail. After 23...Kg8 24.f5 black must take the f-pawn to protect h6 and to prevent a further advance.

I would say <22.Nxf7 Kxf7 23.f5> looks even better since black can't now take the advancing f-pawn (23...exf5? 24.Bxd5+).

Either way, 22.Nxf7 looks to be an improvement over what was played.

Aug-11-19  Ironmanth: Sweet maneuvering! Thanks, chessgames.
Aug-11-19  morfishine: Very excellent game worthy to be GOTD

...but another pathetic game-title inspired by who-knows what, probably fueled by missing critical brain cells from our esteemed voters, not to mention our misguided nit-wit submitter

Nice game though <CG>!
