Mar-26-10  wordfunph: white's massive kingside attack made Carlsen's King ran for safety and the game ended 1-0. the game was played 2000 and if Svendsen plays Magnus today... i bet my hard-earned $1k for Magnus to run over Svendsen.

go Magnus!

Jul-10-10  Brandon plays: Yeah, lol especially since Svendsen doesn't have any other games listed.
Aug-07-10  MoonlitKnight: Svendsen died this monday, at the age of 47.
Jun-19-13  EvilTwin: That's sad....
Aug-02-14  joddon: I bet after this game carslem learned how to defend against kings side pawns attacks.
Sep-30-15  SocraticMethodAdapt: Carlsen plays very organic to his thought pattern and without any format other than adaptation within that particular game itself. This provides chaos for the opponent. Organized chaos I like it.
Jan-02-16  Sergash: In the Chessbase database, this game was played by MORTEN Carlsen.

PawnSac: at the time this game was played Magnus was only 9 years 4 months old! In April 2001 (one year later) Magnus' rating was 2064. Other than discussions concerning Magnus early development, any posturing over the game is relatively unimportant.
Nov-23-18  Christoforus Polacco: 25...B:f3 unnecessary move.
