It is unusual to see five pawns on one file in a game, and for them to stay unchanged until the end of the game.

Black wins due to the Opposition, thus 38 ... f6! 39. Kf3 f5 40. exf5 Kxf5 0-1 (instead of 38 ... f5?? 39. exf5 Kxf5 40. Kf3 drawing). The finish would be 41. Kg3 Ke4 42. Kg2 Kf4 43. Kh3 Kf3 44. Kh2 Kg4 45. Kg2 Kxh4.

Now that Black has the outside passed Pawn (OPP), leave it there to confine White's King within the Square (h5-h1-d1-d5) so the Black King can raid White's Queenside Pawns for an easy win.
