Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-15-02  refutor: i constantly wonder what morphy's opponents (particularly in odds games) were thinking...case in point...15. .. Bg5?! must be far too deep for me because it just looks like he throws away a bishop for nothing
Aug-16-02  pawntificator: He must have been hoping Morphy would capture with the pawn...I can see why Morphy had to give odds. These players seem to be terrible!!
Jun-05-04  Zembla: I like the restraint of Morphy's 21st move. I would've done the more obvious BxN followed by RxP.
Jan-26-06  Knight13: 15... Bg5?? Is a blunder. Got a better word for this move? Even a beginner would've saw Nxg5.
Jan-26-09  WhiteRook48: Morphy never seems to win win he's ahead in material
