Feb-08-05  jahhaj: I know this game is by the 'fake GM' Crisan, but I'd of been disappointed with anyone in my local league who didn't play 57 ... ♖xe3 with an immediate draw. And of course the RP v R ending is drawn anyway.
Feb-21-06  Akiba: OMG, this endgame is hilarious!
Jan-04-07  ChesterTheJester: Come on! I know 8 year olds who can draw that ending, let alone someone who is nearly a 2500. Also 30 secs analysis would have shown, yes that rook x e3 was a definite draw.

Eric Schiller: I'm sure most of my school students would recognize a simple opposition. Crisan was a fake but his stupid play is real, and should be immortalized in books.

offramp: I agree with Akiba - a very very funny game of chess!
Jan-10-12  harish22: in 2001, 2484 was a very very decent rating. back in the 90's this was a high rating for strong im's. This dude must have been a pretty decent player (if not a 2600) one to give such a hard fight
Jul-28-13  dumbgai: Stupid Crisan. Aside from 57...Rxe3, even I (a 1700 level player) know that 85...Rc6 achieves the easily drawn Philidor position. White can't make progress with his king cut off, so he must play f6, allowing Rc1 followed by an endless barrage of long-range checks.
Oct-09-15  ndg2: Does not know basic end game technique, for Crisan's sake!
