May-29-10  whiteshark: What happened?
May-29-10  DCP23: They fixed the transmission for the 2nd game.
May-29-10  vonKrolock: Second is another slow Ruy - Jako as black appears to arrive to endgame with a whole ♙ plus - oposite coloured ♗♗s, but a couple of ♘♘s too
May-29-10  anandrulez: All 4 games draw
May-29-10  DCP23: 2nd blitz game ALSO drawn.
May-29-10  vonKrolock: Lost the ♙ in time scramble...
May-29-10  kellmano: OK the second one was definitely drawn. Watching it in video is not totally devoid of interest, even if you don't know where the pieces are.
May-29-10  randzo: what a players i wish to play blitz like them
May-29-10  whiteshark: 2nd blitz ended in a draw.
May-29-10  DCP23: Armageddon now! Karjakin plays White with 5 mins and must win, Jako plays Black with 4 mins and wins with a draw.
May-29-10  kellmano: Awesome. This will be the first time i've ever seen an armageddon game live.

Well, hopefully

May-29-10  kellmano: Another Ruy
May-29-10  randzo: whoo whole opening in 5 seconds :D
May-29-10  DCP23: <randzo: whoo whole opening in 5 seconds :D>

Well, they know it well enough to play in 0.5 seconds, unfortunately they just can't move their hands that fast ;)

May-29-10  kellmano: And Karjakin wins!

Great stuff.

May-29-10  DCP23: Damn. Karjak wins.
May-29-10  vonKrolock: another symmetrical endgame ... the faster will win - boring chess, interesting time scrambble - Kariakin won - short circuit in the diagonal, Jako lost his Bishop in a one move blunder
May-29-10  whiteshark: at the end a tactical shot decided, <63.Rxe5!>

May-29-10  DCP23: Earlier today, some of the GMs knocked out in rounds 1 & 2 gave a blindfold simul, each playing 2 local kids from a chess school. GMs won all the games (doh).
