fredthebear: We're still wondering about you <whiteshark> and hoping for the best. The world-wide COVID-19 crisis has thrown many operations out-of-whack.

Today, the Richter-Veresov Attack was the Opening of the Day, and your collection was one of three featured. Your previous posts keep popping up in games that are re-examined. Perhaps you'll join us again one day soon.

I can't remember where I saw it, but about a year ago <whiteshark> left an enigmatic post somewhere that I interpreted as meaning he had decided to leave cg.com forever.

I hope that's not true.

  whiteshark: Hello, everyone,

here's a shark's life sign:

Thank you for your concerns, but I'm very well!

I moved at the end of November last year for professional reasons and had no internet connection until now (I don't have a smartphone or TV anyway).

In my rare spare time I discovered new interests for me, so that I will probably post here only rarely in the future, too.

I wish you all the best

Glad that you are safe, and happy for your new avenues. Life should be an adventure. You gotta keep moving forward, right? Thank you for the update.

Since your technology has been lagging, you probably missed my cousin Theo's 1 minute of fame: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...

Good luck!

  whiteshark: More bad news :

In mid-September, I had a spontaneous retinal detachment on my eyes and have been severely visually impaired ever since.... I can see almost nothing on the screen, let alone read. My Premium expires in February - I don't think I'll be able to post much in the future.

Thanks to all for the great last 15 years here
Farewell.
