   Jul-16-05 Anderssen vs M Lange, 1859 (replies)
dickweed: What about 10 .. Bg4?
   Jul-07-05 Movsesian vs E Agrest, 1999
dickweed: It is interesting to notice how this game follows the exact same move-order as Adams vs P Cramling, 1997 two years earlier. Maybe Agrest had traded some information with his fellow swedish GM before the match?
   Jun-30-05 T Krabbe vs A Jongsma, 1969
dickweed: Ofcourse... how could I not see Qxh8. Thnx <tpstar>
Jun-30-05 Boucek vs Duras, 1902 (replies)
dickweed: The position after 13 .. Rhg8 holds a lot of hidden dangers for white. After 14. Nc3 for instance black wins immediately with 14. .. Qxh3 15. gxh Bf3+ 16. Rxf3 Rg1# and 14. Nf3 looses material to 14. .. Qxf3+ 15. Rxf3 Bxf3+ 16. Qg2 Bxg2 perhaps Ng2 is best, I'm not sure
Jun-27-05 Schlechter vs Lasker, 1910 (replies)
dickweed: Just a basic question: can someone provide the line reffered to after 8) .. dxe which leaves white with a pawn up? Since I'm not J.R.C I don't find as obvious :-) Seems to me as if white will loose his own e-pawn after the bishop ends up on c6, lots of tactics involved though. ...
Jun-07-05 Steinitz vs Meitner, 1859 (replies)
dickweed: I guess 11) .. Na5 fails b/c the threath of Nb5-c7# manouver?
May-24-05 Birchbeer vs NN, 1995 (replies)
dickweed: I think black has to move his bishop as otherwise Nxf7 or Nxh7 (after .. 0-0) allows Qh5+ and winning the bishop? Wouldn't 7) .. g6 give black better chances however?
   Mar-21-05 M Leger vs V Pineault, 1999 (replies)
dickweed: Ah, that explains why there is only one game containing Nxe4
   Mar-21-05 Keres vs E Mnatsakanian, 1963 (replies)
dickweed: I guess black resigns since the queen can't avoid being threatened by the knight the next move, allowing Rxg7 to follow
Mar-10-05 Topalov vs Kasparov, 2005 (replies)
dickweed: Where exactly was the perpetual, could anybody please give the exakt moves?
